The District recently saw completion of a key project
identified in the West Central Brazos River
Basin Regional Water Treatment and Distribution
Facility Plan. This regional water project
will contribute to the economic prosperity of
the region and added infrastructure to the
Stephens County Rural Water Supply Corporation.
EDA grant funding in the amount of $250,000
toward the total cost of the project made the
water treatment facility possible. WCTCOG
staff are prepared to work with project sponsors
in the future in seeking EDA grant funding for
additional water projects. |
